How to get a grip on risks?
Thinking about and visualising the possible risks your organisation faces at an early stage is one of the ways to limit the potentially serious consequences of those risks. This is called Risk Management. Risk Management is a continuous process that identifies risks, assesses them, and defines follow-up steps.
Why?
Business Continuity Plan
Would you like to know which functions within your company are critical and which resources are necessary to ensure continuity? Burghgraef van Tiel has developed his own Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for that purpose. This plan uses a business impact analysis and a risk analysis to inventory all business processes.
By regularly going through all phases of our Business Continuity Plan, the involvement of your employees is increased and therefore also the resilience of your organisation.

Our approach
Assignment
After the objective for an assignment has been determined, the financial component and the execution time are discussed. The process is started after approval from our client.
Business continuity plan phases
Understanding the organization
In this phase, the business processes are inventoried based on a business impact analysis (BIA) and a risk analysis (RA). In the business impact analysis, the impact of the activities that support the business process is determined, documented and substantiated.
Determine strategy
This phase reveals which functions within your company are critical and which resources are necessary to ensure continuity. Burghgraef van Tiel’s analysis models are based on different function distributions.
Crisis communication
In crisis communication a well-designed scenario is key. It describes the steps to be taken. An important part in this phase is placing responsibility with the right people in the organisation.
Implementation and realisation
In this phase, we will take the lead in the implementation of our advice and plan, if desired.
The ultimate objective of business continuity measures is to get all functions back to the level of the time before the incident as quickly as possible.
Maintained and revised
Once the Business Continuity Plan is effected, it is of the utmost importance that it is maintained and revised after internal controls and / or process adjustments.
That is why training sessions will be held on a regular basis to familiarize employees with the Business Continuity Plan.
Customer satisfaction study
Burghgraef van Tiel aims high for the quality of its products. This means that we are always looking for new ways to improve our services. After sending your valuation report, we will invite you to participate in our customer satisfaction survey.
